BioPropello™ is Veos Pharmaceuticals’ patent-pending olive-derived biostimulant platform, developed from upcycled olive industry byproducts and designed to improve crop productivity, optimize nutrient efficiency, and support more sustainable agricultural practices through circular bioeconomy principles. The technology has been validated through foundational research conducted at Texas A&M AgriLife and through proof-of-concept field work in Spain, France, and Kenya, providing a robust scientific and agronomic basis for international expansion.

Japan represents a strategically important entry point into Asia. The country’s agricultural biologicals and biostimulant sector is projected to expand steadily over the coming decade, driven by precision agriculture adoption, soil health initiatives, and rising demand for sustainable crop inputs aligned with Japan’s Green Food System Strategy 2050. BioPropello™’s circular bioeconomy positioning is well matched to these priorities.

The BIOPRO-JP project will assess the regulatory pathway, commercial potential, and crop adaptation requirements for the Japanese market, laying the groundwork for pilot field trials, identification of commercial distribution partners, and regional expansion across Asia.
